The Digital Associate is Trustin Digital's advanced, interactive, solid state MPEG 1 & 2 media player. It is designed explicitly to play video for retail, kiosk and vending display functions to enhance the performance and impact of point of purchase promotions. The Digital Associate gives retailers, kiosk and vending companies and their brands opportunity to sell where it matters – at the point of purchase. All settings and content are updateable, revisable and user programmable through an interface using a common Internet Explorer browser. Designed for playback of MPEG 1 & 2 video and audio files, as well as still images - The Digital Associate is a powerful and flexible communications tool. Compressed digital media memory is saved on compact flash cards and offers standard, looped or scheduled playback selections. Outputs are NTSC or PAL compliant and the player is capable of driving any size of CRT,TFT, LCD or plasma screen.

Unlike DVD-based systems, its particular solid state (diskless & fanless), self-cooling design is optimal for around-the-clock play and guarantees long life expectancy. The Digital Associate also uses a non-Window's operating system which does not require high cost software licenses, unlike a pc-based application.
